For Clients
Register as a client using the "Find a Gown" tab, then book a private fitting appointment. We'll curate a personalised selection for your occasion. Gowns are collected one day before your event and returned the next business day.
Bridal and wedding gowns, matric farewell dresses, evening and formal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, cocktail dresses, and mother-of-the-bride pieces — across all sizes from 28 to curve and beyond.
Yes — a non-refundable R150 appointment fee is required to confirm your studio visit. Your appointment is 90 minutes of our full, undivided attention — just you and Chanté.
Yes — clients from the age of 16 are welcome. Persons aged 16–17 must have a parent or guardian co-sign the Rental Contract, who accepts full legal responsibility.
For Consigners
Standard agreements run for either 6 or 12 months, giving your gown full exposure through peak matric, formal, and bridal seasons. You choose your preferred term at drop-off.
All garments are covered under Auralux's specialist garment insurance from the moment of signed drop-off receipt. This covers loss, theft, accidental damage, and rental damage.
Within 7 days of every completed rental, directly to your bank account — along with a rental confirmation. No chasing, no delays, ever.
Yes — give 30 calendar days' written notice to auraluxdress@gmail.com. Withdrawal is only permitted if there are no confirmed future bookings on your garment.
No — Auralux is a consignment-only studio. Your gown stays yours at all times. If a client wants to purchase it, we will contact you — but you are never obligated to sell.
